Is It Time To Stop Avoiding Your ROAS Issues?
Whether you're new to PPC or looking to refine your advertising approach, this piece provides actionable insights to leverage ROAS for better decision-making and increased campaign success.

Have you ever struggled to come up with good creatives for your PPC advertising efforts? Feel like you don’t have the skills to create high-quality designs? But also don’t want to hire a graphic designer to do it for you? Well, as our resident Content Marketing Specialist, I can help you with that! In this blog, I will provide you with tips and softwares to assist you in crafting stunning creatives that will enhance your PPC advertising efforts. And not only that, but creatives you can use for your social media, your website, or any other marketing materials you’d like.
With all the ads we’re all bombarded with on a daily basis, great creatives are key to stand out and grab your audience’s attention. Eye-catching visuals and compelling designs are crucial for making a strong first impression. It also helps to build and strengthen your brand identity, and differentiates you from your competition.
Strong creatives provide you with an effective way to communicate your message quickly and clearly. Well-designed ads help potential customers understand your value proposition, even with just a glance. They can also lead to better ad performance, higher engagement and ultimately a higher return on investment (ROI). Attractive and well-thought-out designs are more likely to convert, making your advertising spend more efficient.
You want your creatives to have a visual appeal. This means using sharp, high-quality images and professional graphics that are relevant to your message. You also want to use clear, readable fonts, and choose a color palette that aligns with your brand and grabs attention without being overwhelming. Utilizing whitespace effectively to make your ad look clean and professional is also key to allow your important elements to stand out.

Other key elements to consider when designing high quality creatives for your PPC advertising is to keep your creatives relevant and targeted. You want to tailor the creative to resonate with your target audience’s interests, needs, and preferences.
You also want to ensure the ad is relevant to the platform and context in which it appears, increasing its likelihood of engagement. Looking at the image on the right, you can clearly see that the ad is for a dog food brand. This creative is a great example of all of the pieces I’ve mentioned about what a good creative looks like – it uses a color palette aligned with their brand, has negative space for the eye to rest, relevant imagery, clear text, and overall looks professional.

Midjourney is a powerful generative ai tool that turns your written prompts into imagery. It helps users create beautiful images and enhance photos effortlessly, and is ideal for those without advanced design skills. Midjourney is the tool I use most often when it comes to developing and sourcing good, unique images for creatives. Midjourney is an easy tool to use if you want to get creative, know what sort of idea you have in your head, but don’t know how to execute it yourself.
There are different plans that have costs ranging from $10/month – $120/month. Based on your budget, and how often you would need to use this tool, you can select the plan that fits you best.

Midjourney works by giving the bot a prompt, or a command. For the purpose of this blog I am going to focus on the command I use most often, Imagine, but there is a full list of Midjourneys commands here. The Imagine command turns a written prompt into an image.
Here is an example. Imagine you are a skincare brand wanting a good quality image of a serum. You can describe exactly what you’d like the image to look like and have it match your current product. The more detail you give the bot, the more spot on it will be.
Midjourney will give you 4 options and you can refine them further if you wish to.
You can create virtually any image you could imagine, no matter what kind of business you own or what kind of products you sell, you can create stunning, realistic photos of your niche and use them in your creatives.
